Coloured Toner Foils

Foil is a new product especially designed for the short run digital print markets and works with any Pneumatic laminator fitted with a rewind bar (and some non-pneumatics). 

The foiling process is created by simply applying a toner based ink to a sheet of paper, only the area of toner will be applied with the foil, the area around the toner is not adhesive to the foil product and therefore remains clean. This very simple application enables intricate patterns to be created in colour foils, holographic effects or certain areas of importance to be picked out and gloss or matt laminated, the latter is known as spot lamination and has traditionally been the strength of much larger wet laminating machines.

The sleeking foils also create a re-printable surface enabling you to print over the coloured foil in a 2nd pass, this enables you to create metallic effect inks in every colour that your press can produce.

Our range of foiling, spot laminating and holographic films are available in a variety of colours and finish types, each are on 320mm width rolls and 100m or 300m in length (Other widths and lengths are available - please ask) The following effects are available:
